Borage oil is rich in linoleic acid and gamma-linoleic acid (we use an organic borage oil guaranteed to have 19% GLA). Both of these are Omega 6 essential fatty acids which your body cannot make. They are vital to good skin barrier function, so borage oil has great benefits for the skin. Borage oil is not sun stable so we use it in higher concentrations in our products specifically designed for night time use
