The water-free skincare revolution

Most high street creams and lotions are up to 80% water. That water then needs preservatives and emulsifiers to keep it stable, exactly the kind of ingredients sensitive skin struggles with.

Our products contain none of that. Just naturally nourishing plant oils, organic beeswax, minerals and home-grown herbal extracts, nothing else. The result:

• No preservatives needed. Bacteria can't grow without water, so we skip the harsh antimicrobial preservatives that disrupt your skin's natural microbiome.
• No emulsifiers needed. Nothing to strip the protective lipids out of your skin barrier.
• 100% active ingredients. Nothing diluting the product, which is also why a little goes such a long way.
• Unrefined and cold-pressed wherever possible, kept close to their natural state rather than processed with heat or solvents that strip out the goodness.

One simple tip that makes a real difference: apply your balm to slightly damp skin, straight after cleansing, rather than waiting until it's completely dry. Our balms work by sealing in moisture already on your skin's surface, so giving them some water to seal in makes them noticeably more effective. Dermatologists widely recommend this technique regardless of what you're using.
