I have always had dry, sensitive eczema-prone skin, with occasional bouts of a spotty rash (which I can only describe as eczema and acne’s love child) around my nose/mouth. For years I’d been applying steroid creams when I had these flare ups, and it worked temporarily only to come back worse. I later found out it was Perioral Dermatitis (PD) and I had been doing all the wrong things for it!
A few months before my wedding the PD returned with a vengeance, so I contacted Lyonsleaf and my journey to good skin began! The customer service was second to none. Vicky was incredibly helpful, advising which products to use and how to use them. I purchased the unscented beauty balm, plus samples of the zinc and calendula cream and the normal calendula cream. The products are great quality, they feel really rich but lightweight at the same time. Within a week my skin had massively improved and now almost 3 months on it’s the best it’s ever been!

It's been four weeks since I have ditched all other skin care products, I now use the beauty balm twice a day and the zinc & calendula cream on any pesky spots and it's so soothing, it reduces the redness and my skin heals so much quicker since I started using these products.

I bulk buy this (and the calendula soap) for us. Minimal packaging and maximum appeal from the fine natural ingredients - and not a bit of palm oil or derivatives in the recipe. If Lyonsleaf can do it then so could other artisans or manufacturers - but they don’t - so Lyonsleaf have my custom. The soaps are gentle enough to use all over including on our hair and on our dog. It lasts a reasonable time too. Using the generous discounts which pop up from time to time makes buying this lovely soap a must. Thanks LL.

Although I’ve used the range of Lyonsleaf creams, oils, soaps, muslin cloths, indeed the whole shop, I always come back to the body butter. For me it can be used all over, including face and around eyes, as well as heels and legs. The body butter represents the best value if you’re on a budget too. I was horrified to discover I had genital herpes recently. Lyonsleaf Zinc and Calendula Cream was an absolute life saver. The doc gave me anaesthetic gel that just rubbed off straight away. She also gave me anti-viral tablets. The zinc and calendula formed a barrier protecting the sore and cooling the burning itch, which gets terribly irritated when urine passes over it. It healed very quickly (not sure if it would have taken longer with-out the cream, and I suspect the anti-virals helped more), but mainly I was so relieved to have a cooling, protective barrier cream whilst the horrible sore was active. It really did make the whole ugly incident much more bearable. I do hope this info is helpful!

Amazing for healing nappy rash! I couldn't believe how quickly this worked on my poor baby's bum from using disposables for a couple of days whilst travelling. We were using another natural brand of calendula cream but it wasnt doing anything for the sore patches. Back to cloth nappies and this cream and perfect peach bum again.

Also great for healing hormonal acne.

I was recommended Lyons Leaf by a friend and decided to try the Face and Body Natural Skincare set as a starter.

The Beauty Balm feels like a little luxury every morning and is all I've needed over the past few weeks to keep my skin clean, cleansed and moisturised twice daily. Love that the packaging comes plastic free and that the products are vegan friendly too! A little seems to go a long way so it's excellent value for money.

It's early days to say whether it will make a huge impact on the overall condition of my skin but it certainly feels soft and cared for in the short term.

The Body Butter has a wonderful scent and moisturising effect even on my eczema / keratosis pilaris ridden arms! I've noticed a slight reduction in redness over use for a couple of weeks and can't wait to try the Calendula and Marshmallow balm that Vicky has suggested next. LOVE this stuff! Whilst I don’t have the worst skin in the world, I have certainly struggled with spots, dry patches and oily skin for as long as I can remember, and never have the confidence to brave the big bad world without make up. Lyonsleaf have been a revelation - I have been using the beauty balm to cleanse twice a day and binned all other expensive creams, toners, lotions and potions that just weren’t working for me. My skin has improved dramatically - I’m not quite ‘no make up’ ready but I’m getting there! Thank you.

My wife gave me a sample of this to try on a long standing skin condition which has been resistant to steroid cream and a range of more natural creams. I've been using it for about a week and am already seeing a significant improvement to my condition. I've now ordered a full size pot - I had given up any hope of improvement prior to using this cream. I also wanted to say that when I phoned for some advice about this and other creams I found the person who I spoke to really helpful: good customer service. Finally, I'm trying to use less plastic and am delighted that this product is plastic free. Well done all round Lyonsleaf!

I had real problems with my skin which unravelled to be perioral dermatitis. I tried bepanthen etc which just didn't help at all. I came across the sample kit and thought that it can't do any harm. I use every day a very light layer around my nose to prevent the drying up of the skin and thus inflammation (I like the orange balm the best to stop dryiness und purple for inflammation). After 5weeks I truly believe that it makes a big difference-no more cut skin and I can control it from getting out of hand again. Give it's try.
