Fighting UK Hunger During Corona Virus Crisis

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and used the discount code from March’s Newsletter. We vowed to donate 10% of all sales using the code to support FareShare UK. The charity are working hard to provide food for vulnerable people during the corona virus outbreak.

We had hoped to raise around £250 which FareShare say is enough to provide 1000 meals, but as per usual our incredible customers really stepped up to the mark and raised nearly twice as much!

A grand total of £455.18 has now been donated to the charity so once again, thank YOU!

As you all know, we are a small family run business and because we mainly sell online we are thankfully able to continue to trade during the crisis. Our staff are all mostly working from home and we are able to continue to pay them without any government support, this is however with great thanks to our wonderful customers. We are doing  everything we can to support our staff and suppliers and we are determined not to let our customers down, we know many of them rely on our products. So with your continued support our little business will continue to thrive even during the crisis and that means we can keep giving a bit back to good causes. We are so grateful for each and every purchase that is made. Thank you!

If you want to join in, then make sure you subscribe to our newsletter – you will instantly receive a 15% off discount code for signing up and further codes will follow each month, often with a portion going to a good cause. You can also write a customer review, we give £3 to the British Red Cross for every customer review received.

If you want to donate to one of our favourite charities directly:
You can donate to the FareShare Corona Virus Response
You can donate to The British Red Cross
You can Donate to The Rainforest Trust UK

We are all in this together even as we are forced to stay apart.

Stay safe, stay home

Vicky and Ben Lyons and the Team at Lyonsleaf.
