Creams for skin affected by hives

Any one of our calendula rich creams will be suitable for skin affected by hives. Below is our advice, but you can also keyword search customer reviews for first hand tips.

Which cream is most suitable for skin affected by hives?

Zinc and Calendula Cream. (yellow label) This product is probably the most suitable for skin affected by hives. It has the same amount of calendula as our other calendula products but with additional zinc which is very cooling and suitable for itchy skin (it's what they put in calamine lotion). It Is unfragranced so is suitable for infants and sensitive types. It is a thick opaque ointment.

Calendula and Marshmallow Balm. (purple label) This has the same amount of calendula as the other products in this category and is suitable for skin affected by hives. It has additional marshmallow root extract which is also suitable for itchy skin. Marshmallow also softens, repairs and re-hydrates like nothing else, so this is great for rough hands (maybe the perfect solution for gardeners!). It's unfragranced so suitable for infants. The lack of fragrance also makes it suitable for very sensitive types who want to avoid essential oils.

Calendula Cream (orange label) This is our original calendula product, it's been around the longest and has most customer reviews. It is fragranced with essential oils and is whipped to make it feel soft and quite luxurious. It is suitable for skin affected by hives. It's not suitable for under 3s because of the essential oil content.

It may be hard to decide which product(s) are suitable for you, so we do sell samples of all three so you can try them before purchasing a full sized jar (always do a patch test).
