Delivery Information

IMPORTANT: FOR A FAST AND GUARANTEED UK SERVICE PLEASE OPT FOR SPECIAL DELIVERY AT CHECKOUT.

Lyonsleaf take customer service very seriously. We can't offer a service like Amazon Prime (although our products are available via Prime on Amazon.co.uk) we do however  dispatch as fast as a rural, family business can.

Should you have any problem with delivery, please contact us and we will ensure any problems get sorted out as soon as possible. If you want us to put an instruction for the person delivering the parcel, just specify in the 'comment' section at check out - eg "please leave parcel in porch if not in"

Dispatch

We always dispatch parcels within 1 working day of receiving an order. We work Monday to Friday and if you order before noon (GMT) your order will almost always be dispatched the same day - As a small family business there are occasions where we can not meet this expectation however and therefore do not guarantee same day dispatch.  

UK Delivery

We dispatch via Royal Mail and once the parcel has left us we have no direct control over it's destiny. We can check the delivery status of a parcel and ask to allow sufficient time for delivery to be attempted.

Most 'lost' parcels arise from the fact that a delivery has been attempted when the customer is out and a card has not been left or it has been lost (we think they sometimes get tucked in the piles of junk mail we all receive). If this happens we can send you a the number and you can arrange a re-delivery via the Royal Mail.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no guarantees with 1st or 2nd class post, so it could take longer - PLEASE CHOOSE SPECIAL DELIVERY IF YOU NEED SOMETHING QUICKLY 

1st Class: Estimated 1-2 days after dispatch (please allow 2-5 working days) Under usual circumstances. 

2nd Class: Estimated  2-3 days after dispatch (Please allow 3-7 working days) Under usual circumstances. 

Unusual circumstances including (but not limited to) the Covid-19 pandemic, Brexit and Festive/Sale periods are not deemed as usual circumstances and delays can be expected. 

Free Shipping is available on UK orders over £20 - You must select 'Free Shipping' at checkout and your parcel will be sent 2nd class.

Special Delivery is guaranteed for the next working day after dispatch - so if you ordered on a Monday afternoon, we'll dispatch on a Tuesday - it's guaranteed for Wednesday morning before 1pm. Please note: Special delivery is not guaranteed for Saturday delivery, so if you order on a Thursday afternoon, or Friday Morning you might neot get it until Monday - it does, however, usually turn up on a Saturday in this case.

UK parcels over 2kg will be sent by an overnight courier (regardless of of which shipping method you choose) you will be sent a tracking number in this case and should you miss the delivery you can contact the courier to re-deliver. You can see the approximate weight of your order in the shopping cart, but be aware it is approximate, if it says just over 2kg it may still go by Royal Mail.

Please note: In the event of parcels being returned to us because they are unclaimed we can only refund the cost of goods if they arrive to us undamaged. We cannot refund postage costs for parcels that are not claimed.

We can no longer sell to the European Union

We are so sorry to say we can no longer sell to our friends in the EU because of the new trade arrangements agreed between the British government and the European Union. We hope we may be able to find away to satisfy compliance with the EU cosmetic regulations and begin trading again at some point, but the new situation makes it very difficult for smaller brands to achieve this. We are very saddened by the situation and we hope to be back at some point - please watch this space for details.

Unfortunately we will no longer be able to sell to Northern Ireland once the new Brexit rules are fully implemented because they will then be covered by the EU cosmetic regulations rather than the UK regulations. For now we are still sending to Northern Ireland, but unfortunately that may change without notice - We are very sorry about this.


European parcels

You can select a "Tracked and Signed For" service to European countries or service with "No Tracking". We can not track parcels sent without tracking. Most European parcels take 5-7 days to arrive, but it varies according to the national postal service of the country it is being sent to. We will not act to resolve a lost parcel until 12 working days have passed if 'No Tracking' has been selected.

Parcels over 2 kg to Europe will be sent via courier which normally takes 2-3 days, again it does vary from country to country. In this case you will receive a tracking number and should you miss the delivery you can arrange a re-delivery. You can see the approximate weight of your order in the shopping cart, but be aware it is approximate and if it says just over 2kg it may still go by post.

Outside of Europe

Parcels to the rest of the world are all sent tracked. The type of service depends on the national postal service receiving the parcel. It will be sent "Tracked" by default (you will not need to sign for it) if the country does not support that service it will be sent "Tracked and Signed" if the country does not support tracking at all it will be sent "Tracked" until it leaves the UK.

World wide tracking is quite expensive, but very reliable. Most parcels take 5-10 working days to arrive, however very occasionally things get delayed at customs. You can buy most of our products at www.lovelula.com and they offer world wide free shipping on orders over £10, however we do hear it takes a little longer to arrive.

We now offer a courier service to America and Canada. This is usually much quicker than the post, but we can't guarantee your parcel won't get held up with customs. Courier parcels are fully tracked - the telephone number provided at checkout is supplied to the courier and you will have to sign for the parcel, but it should be easy to arrange collection or re-delivery if you miss the delivery.
